The very nice folks over at PBJMag just did an article calling Good Bad Flicks the “Best Movie Reviews Ever”. This just made my week…possibly month. 🙂
Please take a moment to check out the site and the article. I think they do a pretty good job of summarizing why the show is different from many of the others out there.
Hoorayz! 🙂
Wow. That’s a pretty awesome write-up there. And he really captured what’s great about bad movies, and why some of us love them so.
Congratulations. “Super Mario Bros: The Movie” was the first review I saw. As a kid I liked it regardless of the reviews, but your review made me but the DVD within a week after watching it. There is a moment that I always remember, which is Koopa’s expression when he sees Daisy petting Yoshi. In my opinion, he is fascinated that Daisy considers a species such as them just as beautiful as a human….even though she is from that dimension…. Other bad films that I enjoy are “From Dusk Til Dawn”, “Ju-on”, “Grindhouse”, “Dogma”, and, of course, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze”.
I do have a few requests:
“The Faculty”
“Small Soldiers”
“Willard” (I always saw this film as the Rat King’s origin)
“Freddy vs Jasen”
“BASEketball”
as well as my other favorites.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your series.
Oh, by the way, I currently have a section on my Amazon Wishlist called “Good Bad Flicks”. Most of the films are the ones you reviewed, but I also included the “Final Destination Series”, the “Saw Series”, The “Resident Evil Series”, “The Planet of the Apes Series”, and “The Twilight Saga”.
