The fine folks over at the GameEnthus podcast had me on their show last night. Listen and enjoy the hilarity!

Thanks guys, I had a good time. I appreciate you letting me shamelessly plug the show while simultaneously rambling on and on about The Gate 2.
I figured you were going to say Maiden was your favorite show. Still, I’ve seen Dream Theater live three times, and every time has been freaking awesome. Hearing A Change of Seasons live just totally blew my mind, and lasted about three weeks, I think.
Maiden was just an amazing show. They had so much energy and played nonstop for 2 hours. It was awesome. The stage show was incredible and always something going on. I loved it.
I’ve seen Dream Theater twice and they also put on a hell of a show. Less flashy than Maiden (or many of the other bands I’ve seen live) but no less incredible. Actually, I think they are still playing A Change of Seasons.
I was going to mention some of the more unusual concerts I’ve seen live but I didn’t want to completely derail the podcast. However, I’ll do that here! I saw an awesome show back in the early 2000s. God Dethroned, Hate Eternal, Six Feet Under, and Cannibal Corpse. Roughly 5 hours of Death Metal. So much bass I felt like someone was punching me in the chest the whole night. Great show.
Believe it or not I saw Squirrel Nut Zippers and they were great live! Tons of energy and it was odd to see the audience swing dancing instead of moshing. I saw Anthrax open for Ozzy…that was a great show. Ahhh memories. One of the other subjects I could ramble on for hours about is music so I’ll stop now.
